Having worked previously within the law profession, Mohammed is determined to bring his own experiences into his new career and become the best he can.
鈥淚 came into teaching as a result of a career change and postgraduate study represented a major change in lifestyle for me 鈥 it has developed my practice as a reflective practitioner, raised my awareness of teaching developments and frankly, enabled me to become a great teacher and to strive to become an even better teacher!
I was able to appreciate the benefits of teaching a lot more having come to it from a different vocation. There is no value that can be attached to the pleasure of facilitating a child鈥檚 learning.鈥
Mohammed has worked hard, however he is aware of the rewards and the help he has received.
He continues: 鈥淚 feel that I have surpassed my ambitions as I was awarded an outstanding trainee teacher grade during my final block placement and secured a teaching post at the same school. It was a challenging year at times but the support of family, friend, colleagues and tutors pulled me through.鈥
